Bill Nash Online
Welcome to Bill Nash Online!
This site is dedicated to the writing and photography of Bill Nash.
Bill Nash is a freelance writer and photographer based in Southern California. Bill writes a weekly column for the Ventura County Star and has published two books.
Bill's column has been running for 19 years, the last 16 in the Star. The column combines humor, family values and current events to give readers a break from the hard news of the day and, perhaps, bring a smile or a moment of reflection to soften the world for a moment or two. The column appears every Sunday.
Bill's first book was Oil, Orchards and Flames. The book of local history traces 150 years of firefighting in the small Southern California city of Santa Paula that home to the birth of both the California oil and citrus industries.
Fog Delay, Bill's first novel is a thriller set at San Francisco International Airport. Both Fog Delay and Oil, Orchards and Flames can be purchased in soft-cover or as an e-book from www.amazon.com, www.barnesandnoble.com or www.xlibris.com .

Every baby is a little miracle, and every baby changes the world when they enter it.
To view some of my photography, click on "Photos" in the navigation bar, or click on the link below. Many of the photos were taken to illustrate the 50 travel destination articles I have written. Others are just some I have taken of my favorite places. They range from ordinary to award-winning, but I love them all.

My newest travel article was just published in the Ventura County Star. It's about my visit to the Land of Oz. I'll post the article and photos here in the near future, but in the meantime, you can use this link to see the article on the Star's website:
